Logtivity has support for staging and development sites. Logtivity will automatically detect if a site has been cloned, and it will not record any more logs unless you approve.
One benefit of this approach is that the logs for your live site won’t automatically become polluted with actions performed on staging and development sites. A second benefit is that you will not be charged for any staging or development sites that have the Logtivity plugin installed.
When you clone a site that is connected to Logtivity you will see this message inside your WordPress admin area. The message in the image below says this:
“We’ve detected a change in your site URL. Is this a dev or staging environment? As a precaution, we’ve stopped logging.”
