What’s New at Logtivity in January?
Hey, and thanks for using Logtivity, the WordPress activity log.
This month, we’ve released a series of improvements to the Logtivity app. You’ll now find better options to search your activity and error logs. You’ll also find it easier to set up Logtivity charts and alerts.
Keep reading for an overview of the first Logtivity improvements in 2025.

Faster searching for activities
There’s another new search improvement for your activity logs. Logtivity will monitor changes and activity on all your WordPress sites. On your Activity Log screen, you can now drill down quickly to find some of the most common activities. Any activity that’s recorded on your site will be automatically added to this dropdown.

Search your error logs
Logtivity records all PHP errors on your sites, including Errors, Warnings, and Notices. On your Error Logs screen, there’s now a search box available to help you find the specific error message you’re looking for.

Test your alerts
With Logtivity you can create alerts when something happens on your sites. These can go directly to your email inbox, to Slack channels or anywhere you want, thanks to webhooks. This now easier with a “Test” button so you can verify that the alert is working correctly.

New default charts
When you add a new site to Logtivity, we now automatically create several charts for that site. With the Charts feature, you can track all the activity on your sites, and you can then visualize that data. We’ll create charts for you showing these events:
- “User Logged In”
- “Plugin Updated”
- “User Created”
- “Post Updated”

What’s next?
We have three big items in our plans for February:
- A new dashboard so you can easily view, filter, and find your sites.
- More advanced notifications, including custom alerts for each site and the ability to include metadata in alerts.
- One screen that shows a firehose of all your activities. This makes it easy to get an overview of everything happening on all your sites. You will be able to search across all your sites. For example, you can find all the activity happening from a specific IP address, or you can find all the sites that have recently updated a specific plugin.
