Logtivity Has Better Support for Taxonomy Term and Status Changes

Over the last few weeks, we’ve been working on some improvements to the Logtivity SaaS platform and central. These improvements include Global Alerts, support for development sites, quickly connecting multiple sites, and more.

This week, we went back to the main activity log and added support for new types of logs. With the release of Logtivity 1.13, you’ll see more accurate logs for taxonomy and status changes.

New Taxonomy Logs

Logtivity now tracks changes to your taxonomy changes, including creating, updating, and deleting terms. This image below shows the three types of log entries that Logtivity has for terms:

  • Term Created
  • Term Updated
  • Term Deleted

This image below shows the full details of the log entry for “Term Created”.

New Status Change Logs

Logtivity will also record any status changes for your content, even if the posts are not published or unpublished. In the image below, you can see how that the posts moved between “Pending”, “Draft”, and other statuses.

  • Hi,

In this pluging is there livetrack feature? For exsample If someone else lets say person A is already modifying the same taxonomy what i am( person B) about to modify, i am not able to do that because logtivity has blocked that from me while person A is working with that taxonomy. And when noone is modifying taxonomy it is open for modifications

    • Hi Ville. Thanks for your interest in Logtivity. Sorry, that would be more of a permissions feature than an activity log feature. We can tell you who edited the taxonomy and when.
