There’s a New “White Label Mode” in Logtivity

The most frequent users of Logtivity are WordPress agencies and maintenance services who want to keep an eye on lots of websites.

Agencies and maintenance services often white label the services they use, and so we’ve made this possible for Logtivity also.

There’s a “White Label Mode” in Logtivity, so you can provide the smoothest experience possible for clients.

You can now remove all the references to Logtivity from the WordPress admin area.

More about the White Label Mode

Logtivity is the hosted activity log for WordPress. We host all your activity logs so that they don’t fill up your database and slow down your site.

We store all your logs safely, and also make them available inside the WordPress admin area. In the screenshot below, you can see how the logs appear in the WordPress dashboard. There’s a Logtivity logo at the top of the screen, and the “Logtivity” link in the admin menu.

Here’s how to remove all the references to Logtivity from the WordPress admin area.

  • Go to “Team Settings” then “Global Plugin Settings” in the Logtivity app.
  • Check the “Enable White Label Mode” box.
  • Click the “Update” button.

This setting will automatically apply to all the sites you have connected to Logtivity.

The screenshot below shows how the activity logs appear with this new “White Label Mode” active. The menu has been renamed to “Logs” and the Logtivity logo has been removed.

With “White Label Mode”, your clients can view and search all the activity logs for this site, and they will never know the service is provided by Logtivity. They won’t be able to delete any logs, but they will be able to see everything.

Logtivity and WordPress Agencies

This “White Label Mode” is another feature we’ve added to support WordPress agencies and maintenance services.

We’ve spoken with agencies who need the ability to track activity on the sites they build for clients. Mistakes happen and sometimes clients can mess up their own sites. The problem is that mistakes can often take the agency many hours to fix. If the agency can’t show the mistake was made by the client, they have to eat the cost. Logtivity is an easy-to-use solution that you can install on all your clients’ sites. With this level of tracking, you and the client are on the same page about all important site changes.
