You Can Now See Logtivity Activity Logs Inside WordPress

We have some great improvements planned for Logtivity users in 2022, and we’re excited to release this first one at the beginning of January: Logtivity now integrates with the WordPress admin area.

All the logs are still stored in our app, but you can now also view and search your logs from inside your WordPress site.

To activate this new feature, all you need to do is update to version 1.9 of the Logtivity plugin. The screenshot below is a preview of what you’ll see immediately after updating the Logtivity plugin:

All your log data will be visible and searchable in the WordPress admin area. For example, you can search for “Post Updated” to see any recent changes to your content. In the image below, I’m searching for post updates from inside the WordPress admin area.

You can also choose to search for all the activity from a specific user. In this next image, I’m pulling up all the activity from a user called “steve”:

If you want more information on any specific log entry, you can click the “View” button on the right side of the screen, as in the screenshot below:

Clicking the “View” button will produce a modal window like the one in this next screenshot:

Before that, in August, it was support for the Easy Digital Downloads plugin and several popular add-ons. We’re going to keep improving Logtivity quickly and would love to hear your ideas.
